So, here I am again, having slacked on my writing. But I am back today! 1st of all, I am very proud of myself because i made good choices this weekend. :) One of the biggest good choices i made, was that I went to go see my sister in Modesto, and on Sunday morning we went out to one of my favorite places for breakfast, and i usually get Huevos Rancheros and I really wanted to eat that!! But I didn't! I had oatmeal and toast. It was really good and filling, but NOT huevos rancheros :(. And on Saturday night we went to one of my other favorite places to eat, and I made good choices there too! Salad instead of french fries (but I did sneak some french fries from Jenni!), and a garden burger. My good choices and exercise during the week, were worth it though because I lost 3 lbs this last week!!! I weighed in last night at 219. My next big goal step is to get down to 199. I have to try to think of the little goals though. Like the next 5 lbs in the next 5 weeks because that is the normal pace that i have been going. I really hope though that i can go a little faster like this last week!
My mom bought me a couple of cookbooks, but i have only gone through them at the bookstore when we decided to buy them. "Cooking with Trader Joe's Skinny Dish" and "Vegan Cooking for Carnivores." I really want to try some recipes! But i haven't made time yet!
