Before Official Day 1

I purchased the books and started reading on March 24th, and haven’t had meat or eggs since the 25th, but I am considering my first official day of the 21 day Kickstart where I follow the book, and read each day’s entry as directed as April 1, 2012. I already have made a good start, just by cutting out meat and eggs, in the first week, I lost 4 lbs! It actually hasn’t been that bad. Especially giving up meat. These books have painted such a nasty picture of meat and where it comes from and how bad it is for you, that now I am so grossed out, that I don’t even want it!! Eggs too! Yuck!!! The cheese is the hardest to give up. I have already decided that I am probably going to cheat and still have my starbucks once a week with milk (unless soy doesn’t taste too bad, I will try it tomorrow) and my coffee every morning with flavored dairy creamer. I just can’t give that up…..yet. Cheese is also going to be very hard to give up. So many good vegetarian recipes have cheese!!!! How am I going to live without it!!!
