The reading from last night was about trying to add new and different foods to your diet, and to your normal diet. Like, add different toppings to your salad, that you wouldn't necessarily think about. Or put more things on your pizza to take place of the cheese. There was a quick tip at the end that was really good for me. They gave some tips on what kind of things freeze well, and what kinds don't. Salad, fruits, and veggies don't really freeze well because they get soft and mushy because of the ice crystals. Foods that are already soft or liquid freeze good. Also, if a meal needs a crunchy or firm texture it doesn't work either.
My mom told me about a recipe from Dr. Oz for a power smoothie, I want to try it. It sounds good. I really need to go grocery shopping this weekend so i have more foods, and so i can try a couple of recipes.
Yesterday, I also learned how to see QUINOA. I was pronouncing it qwi-noh-ah. But it is actually pronounced keen-wah. :) Yay! I still haven't tried to eat it, but now i at least know how to say it!
Today i did not exercise. I hope i still lose weight this week, i have been slacking a little bit.....
