Last night's reading they talked about an extra special external motivator - thinking about your loved ones. They mentioned how raising your children on a plant-based diet is better for them, and helps them not to grow obese and prevents them from getting diseases. Kids will like vegetables if you make them eat them! Also, it talks about trying to help people in your family to eat better along with you. I think the motivation is that you want to eat right so you live longer to be there for your kids or for your family. It makes you not want to die early, and to do everything you can to last longer - which includes a good for you diet!
I was pretty lazy again today. But i was awake and outside watching t-ball for a while. And I stuck to my diet. I did give in and have my taco bell bean burrito! It really hit the spot, and it was on my diet.
Last night I watched "Sugar: The Bitter Truth", by Dr. Lustig. It was on youtube. My mom told me about it, cause there was a little bit about it on 60 minutes then she watched the whole video too. It is about an hour and a half lecture, but it is really interesting. It talks about how sugar is so bad for us. High fructose corn syrup is in everything and it is making us all fat. That was the gist of it, but there was so much more! You need to watch it, you will never look at sugar the same way again!
