Day 3 - April 3, 2012

Last night's book reading was about meat replacements. So, again there was brought up my question - soy or not soy? They touched on the controversy that there is thought that it is bad for you, and thought that it is good for you! This book seemed to lean more towards the fact that it is good for you, and that tofu is a great meat substitute. Other meat substitutes mentioned are beans, and store bought veggie meats. So far, I am doing fine without meat. The one craving that I forsee coming at one point (unless i can continually think about how gross meat is) is that I LOVE me a good BBQ tri tip sandwich....

Tonight I also realized that my favorite beans (Ranch Style) are canned in animal fat, so I can't eat those any more! I did tonight though! Cheater! But it was my last can, so I won't eat them again!

When I am at work and it is super boring and slow, which today was, I just want to eat!!! I am soooooo bored that i want to eat!! I brought just enough food to get me through but it was awfully hard today not to scrounge around the office for candy or snacks!!! But I made it through!! Yay for me!!

As far as exercise for me today, i did not get out and ride. I really should have, because it probably would have woken me up from my neverending boredom at work. I did take a break, just didn't ride. Well, there is always tomorrow!
